The 3 Generazioni Appassimento Rosso Puglia IGT is a bold, velvety red wine from the Puglia region of Southern Italy, produced by the Menzatia winery.
Crafted using the traditional appassimento method—the grapes (mainly Primitivo) are partially dried on the vine to concentrate sugars and flavors—this wine is known for its intense, “jammy” character.
The name Cielo e Terra (literally Sky and Land, or Heaven and Earth) recreates a perfect marriage, where Heaven is represented by the family of the same name and the Land is identified with the expert hands of the winegrower partners working in the vineyards that yield these wines.
“3 Passo” means 3 steps to obtain a unique Italian blend, a 3-step winemaking approach based on Italian vocated terroirs, only organic grapes and masterful vegan winemaking.

Here the area is predominantly flat and characterized by brick-red soils rich in iron oxides from the underlying limestone that give our wines great aromatic complexity.
In Cantina Sava have selected the oldest primitivo saplings and, bunch by bunch, all our grapes are handpicked and brought intact and healthy to the cellar; where they are then handed over to expert winemakers, in charge of the scrupulous vinification and aging and prepare it for a long bottle life. The strength of these wines comes from the ability to dose the three main ingredients of the Salento wine tradition: Sun, sea and passion.
