APPEARANCE
The color is very deep ruby.

NOSE
Cranberry, blackcurrant, and warmed plum, layered over a distinctly savory undertone of green pepper, earth, and smoky oak.

PALATE
The palate is rich, with a warm core of currant preserve, cherry purée and fig paste framed by licorice snap and tar notes.

AGEING
12 months in French oak barrels.

PAIRING
It pairs beautifully with high-protein dishes and rich, earthy main courses..
