Intense golden yellow, with golden and green reflections.
NOSE
Very intense, hot shingles, toffee, very ripe, fruity lemon with floral overtones of acacia and hawthorn.
PALATE
Well-rounded attack and full bodied, very complex with overtones of ripe fruits, spices and roasting.
Very long in the mouth, with a fresh final note.
AGEING
Maturing on lees with regular stirrings for 6 months.
The ageing lasts between 10 and 12 months.
PAIRING
Pan-fried foie gras, filet mignon of veal with morels and black truffles.
READINESS FOR DRINKING
Depending on the vintage, the wine can be kept for 30 to 60 years, even 50 to 75 years.
