APPEARANCE
Straw yellow colour, shiny with green tints.
NOSE
The nose, marked by pleasant freshness, opens onto gentle floral aromas of lime and elder berries.
PALATE
Crunchy and refined, this Sylvaner develops good freshness on the palate.
Elegance on the finish, dominated by aromas of herbal tea and white flowers with good aromatic persistence.
A very nice gastronomic wine.
AGEING
Maturing on fine lees for 4 months.
Ageing in vats for 5 months before bottling.
PAIRING
This Sylvaner has all the freshness and character to pair with shellfish or seafood platter, in particular oysters.
It goes very well with all sorts of cold cuts, sauerkraut, hors-d’oeuvres and appetisers.
It can easily replace a Riesling with any type of fish.
READINESS FOR DRINKING
Drink well now but can be kept for 5 years.
